No. Google Drive sync is optional. You can work locally and use local export/restore. Drive sync is for users who want a cloud backup and restore path across their own Google account.
The free version lets you understand the workflow with limited captures and a smaller tool set. It is useful for trying the product and seeing how much value a structured clipboard workspace brings to your day.
Pro is for daily use. It unlocks unlimited captures, vault access, trash recovery, versioning, montage, more tools, advanced workflows and optional Google Drive sync. If the extension becomes part of your workday, Pro removes the friction.

One license can be activated on up to three devices. To free a slot, open Settings on that device and remove its license; the extension confirms the remote deactivation before removing it locally. ⚠ Before uninstalling the extension, always remove the license first, then uninstall. Uninstalling first does not free the activation slot.
Yes. Activate the same license on up to three computers and connect each one to the same Google Drive account. They then share the same regular text, code and image workspace. While the devices are online and Drive is available, additions and deletions normally appear on the other devices within one minute. Vault content is never synchronized.
To provide its features, the extension handles the captures and metadata the user deliberately creates: text, code, images, screenshots, titles, notes, categories, timestamps, source URLs, favicons, searches and preferences. They stay in the Chrome profile by default and are not sent to Arcawand Soft.
Only after the user connects Drive and enables sync, regular captures, their metadata and synchronized preferences are written to the Ultimate Clipboard Pro backup workspace in that user's Drive. Vault content is never included. The extension uses drive.file access, not unrestricted access to every file in Drive.
The dedicated Arcawand license service receives only the license and technical device data required for checking, activation, renewal, recovery, revocation and deactivation. It verifies the commercial entitlement with Dodo Payments. Captures, screenshots, notes, searches, Vault content and Drive backups are never part of that flow.
Arcawand Soft and Dodo Payments do not receive clipboard history. Google Drive stores regular backup data only when the user enables sync in their own account. The developer does not use that data for advertising or profiling and does not access it as part of licensing or support.
Delete individual items or local data from the extension, remove saved ZIP backups from their chosen folders, and delete the Ultimate Clipboard Pro backup workspace from Google Drive if Drive was used. Remove an active license before uninstalling so the remote device slot is released.
Each permission supports a visible feature: capture on supported pages, user-triggered clipboard access, local storage, context menus, screenshots, extension surfaces, monitor-aware placement, local backup files and optional Google identity/Drive synchronization. Permissions are not used for advertising, sale of data or unrelated browsing surveillance.
The extension contains no developer analytics, advertising trackers or behavioral profiling. The separate public Arcawand Soft website may measure website visits only after its consent controls allow it; those measurements do not receive extension content or clipboard activity.
The Terms of Use govern use of the software. The Terms of Sale explain the one-time Pro purchase, delivery, activation, withdrawal and refund framework, including Dodo Payments' role as merchant of record. Both are available from every extension menu and on the official product website.
